Place Royale

Site of the first French settlement in North America in 1608, this is where the city's founder established his first house.  The main points of interest are the Place-Royale Interpretation Center, the Maison Chevalier (1752), Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church (1688), the Batterie Royale (1691) and the Québecers fresco.
