BRIGHT COLORS TO CELEBRATE SPRING!

After a long cold winter, it’s time to put away our hats and mittens.  We also have to start filling our closets with lighter clothes.  This year, spring colors are very bright: orange, red and green are in and the fabrics are very fluid.In terms of fabrics, the trend leans towards natural fibres like cotton, flax, and bamboo fabric.  Also known as “green silk”, this fabric gives a feeling of lightness which is perfect for spring.  The fabric will also feature a lot of brightness and for those who enjoy some glow in their wardrobe, clothes with just a touch of sequins are becoming increasingly popular.Dresses are also making a big comeback.  Whether during the day, for a happy hour or the evening, dresses are worn above or below the knee with mule shoes, also known as backless shoes, or a nice pair of sandals.  Again, colors will be very bright, prints and bright-colored fabrics covered with a thin veil will also be in.This spring, fashion leans towards comfort.  Blouses, sweaters and camisoles are flared up.  Leotard-type clothes are cast aside in favour of more ample and fluid garments.  Slacks are high cut and somewhat looser.  Have a comfortable spring!
