The Train is launching three new exciting rail cruise packages for Summer 2012: The Baie-Saint-Paul Discovery Cruise, La Malbaie Getaway and the Supper Cruise. Travellers on the first two trips enjoy a three-hour stopover to discover Baie-Saint-Paul's countless attractions. Theme circuits and tours devised to charm gastronomy and adventure lovers, culture buffs and fans of the great outdoors extend a lovely invitation to explore this authentic region.
On board, passengers experience a genuine, distinctive culinary adventure in Charlevoix gastronomy, savouring exclusive menus prepared by Chef Patrick Turcot from the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu. Composed of the region's fresh, full-flavoured ingredients, field-to-fork menus vary from one rail cruise to the next - a gourmand breakfast, tantalizing tapas fragrant with terroir tastes, or a four-course gastronomical dinner.
As the journey and nature unfurl, an on-board multimedia show modulates the railcar ambience in synergy with the passing landscape. The magic begins, as sweeping vistas take centre stage, omnipresent, nourishing both the heart and spirit.
