Cartier-Brébeuf National Historic Site of Canada

This site of national historic significance is a magnificent city park on the shores of the Saint Charles River, offering the general public an ideal place for recreational activities. Take advantage of recent improvements to the site and enjoy the peacefulness of the neighbouring aquatic environment. Take yourself back nearly 500 years through the travel accounts of Jacques Cartier when he wintered at the site during his second voyage in 1535-1536, and nearly 400 years in Jean de Brébeuf's adventure during establishment of the Jesuits in 1625. Guided tours are available.

Contact the interpretation centre for departure times.
